Frequently Asked Questions
Rent It is a peer-to-peer rental marketplace where owners can list items for rent and renters can
book them for a fee. Once the owner accepts the request, payment is made through the platform, and
both parties arrange pickup or delivery. After the rental period, the item is returned and reviews
can be left.
Anyone 18+ with a valid email, phone number, and payment method can use Rent It. Businesses can also
list items as long as they comply with local laws and our terms.
Browse or search for an item, request a booking for your desired dates, wait for the owner to
confirm, pay through the platform, arrange pickup/delivery, use the item, then return it and leave a
review.
After signing up, go to “Create listing” fill in the details, upload photos, set a price and
availability, then publish it. Your item will appear in search results for renters.

provided up to the deposit amount specified by the owner during the listing process.

protection.
